Repertoire 2026
GISELLE
The well-known classical repertoire danced by Carlotta Grissi, muse to the choreographer Jules Perrot and to the poet Théophile Gautier.
We will take a close look at Giselle which was created in 1841 for her by Perrot and Gautier. Carlotta was described as a delightful Giselle in the eternal story of love and betrayal, which immediately established her as a great star.
ROMEO and JULIET
Shakespeare’s love story about two young people from rival families, the Montagues and the Capulets.
This summer you will experience one of the most exciting parts: The Dance of the Knights where elegance and power come together.
The ballet was first performed in 1938. Many different choreographers have made their own versions of this ballet over the years. Including Rudolph Nureyev, Sir Frederick Ashton and Kenneth MacMillan.
