Alberto Tardanico (born in Turin, Italy, 1995) is a professional dancer with Introdans, one of the Netherlands’ leading international dance companies. He trained at the National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam before joining Introdans in August 2016, where he has built a distinguished career in both classical and contemporary repertoire.
Training and Early Dance Journey at the Dutch National Ballet Academy
Alberto’s journey into dance began with hip‑hop, and under the guidance of his teachers he transitioned into classical ballet. His dedication and technical versatility led him to study ballet seriously and eventually train at the Dutch National Ballet Academy, laying the foundation for his professional achievements.
Repertoire Highlights and Collaborations

At Introdans, Alberto has performed a wide range of repertoire, working with renowned choreographers including Mauro Bigonzetti, Akram Khan, Paul Lightfoot and Sol León, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Jorge Pérez Martínez, José Limón, Andonis Foniadakis, and Jiří Kylián. His roles encompass both ensemble and featured performances in contemporary and classical works, showcasing his artistic range and commitment to diverse dance styles.
Special Recognition from Hometown Mayor
In recognition of his artistic excellence and contribution to dance, Alberto has received special recognition from the Mayor of his hometown for his outstanding career in the performing arts. He continues to advance his craft with Introdans, contributing to performances that tour nationally and internationally.
